FAQs
Do I need to have creative skills to join?
No — our programs are for everyone. Some participants are just starting out, others already have creative experience. We tailor sessions to your level, interests, and comfort zone.
Can I choose between 1:1 and group sessions?
Yes. You have full choice and control. We offer 1:1 mentoring for personalised learning, small group sessions for social connection, or a mix of both. You can switch if your needs change.
Where are sessions held?
We keep it flexible:
At home (comfortable and familiar).
In the community (cafés, parks, libraries).
In creative spaces (studios, workshops).
Online (great for digital mentoring or if travel is tricky).
We’ll confirm what’s best with you each time.
What activities can I do?
It depends on your goals. Some options include:
DJing and music production
Singing and vocal training
Art, painting, or rug-making
Sports and fitness sessions
Digital design and social media skills
Community access and outings
Festival and event experiences
How does NDIS funding work for this?
Most supports are billed under:
Core – Assistance with Social & Community Participation
Capacity Building – Increased Social & Community Participation
We’ll confirm the right line item with you or your plan manager before starting.
Do you support plan-managed, self-managed, or NDIA-managed participants?
Right now we support plan-managed and self-managed participants. NDIA-managed will be available soon.
Can I bring my own support worker?
Yes. If you’d like your current support worker, friend, or family member to come along, that’s totally fine.
How big are the groups?
Small — usually 3–6 people. This keeps sessions supportive, comfortable, and easy for everyone to join in without feeling overwhelmed.
What if I try something and don’t like it?
That’s no problem. You can stop, change programs, or try something new. Your choice and control always come first.
Do you provide equipment?
We bring the basics for most activities. For things like DJing, rug-making, or art, we supply the core gear. If extra materials are needed, we’ll talk it through with you in advance.
Do you write progress notes?
Yes. We write simple, clear progress notes after each session. These can be shared with you, your family, or your support coordinator to track your progress.
